The MIRACLE Month of MAY
The May 1-10, I always call the WILD BLUEBELL festival. That is our 4 daughters getting their bluebell bow-kay. I believe the month of may by far has more changes in our enviroment that any other month. I have carefully paid attention to each and everyday. As important the extended hours in each day, our woods, lawns, pokey oak trees, spring planting, flower gardens (Hosta’s) have just burst with life in these 30 days.
I forgot to mention up above the awaited day the dandelions arrive. I show the photo of a dandelion which had to decide to BLOOM WHERE IT WAS PLANTED or die and go away. Somehow it found a crack in the asphalt and pushed its way up to the bright sunshine to show its smile. How about you? I remind you today if you are stuck under the challenges of life, the Bible says:
“Weeping may endure for the night, but JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING.”
Family update. This is Jode and I celebrating our 34th anniversary. I am grateful for Jode and recently sang her the song, “Doubly Good to You” by Amy Grant. Our family has grown beyond what I could ever imagine. We now have 6 grandkids and one on the way. One of our triplets, Abby is the last to marry. Her and Drew are getting married in December. With the grandkids living nearby, we are blessed seeing some of them daily. We all like to spend as much time as possible at our cabin 65 miles away near Janesville, MN. Thanks for all the cards, I just turned 78 on May 25! We also celebrated a one year birthday for granddaughter Ellie Koneczny. My health continues to cause me to daily repeat “Thankful and Blessed”. I will be getting a 4 month CT scan soon to determine if I am still cancer free. Other challenges continue but as the side of my wheelchair says, “Don’t Quit, Finish Strong” Thanks to all of you for your Love and encouragement.
